Fourth Stance
Right (F) – Dragon Stance
Left
foot points straight ahead.
The right foot is perpendicular to the left foot with the toe pointed to the
right, in front of the left foot, with the heel placed 12 to 18 inches (the distance from your ankle to the base of your knee) on the
right side of an imaginary line drawn out from inside the left foot.
Both knees are bent. The right foot is flat on the floor and the left heel is raised so you are on the ball of the
left foot. Weight is evenly distributed on both feet.
Shoulders are facing straight ahead.
In the proper position, the left knee should be at mid calf of the right
leg, about two to four inches away and just to the back part of the
right calf. |
